10 Day Itinerary Geared Toward Jewish Sights

Day 1
Arrive at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport.  A sightseeing tour in Tel Aviv and transfer to an accessible hotel in Tiberias.  Dinner and overnight – Tiberias.

Day 2
Visit the strategic Golan Hights and on to Hamat Gader. Here we will bathe in hot mineral springs and return to Tiberias.  In the evening a cruise on the Kinneret (Sea of Galillee). Dinner and overnight – Tiberias.

Day 3
Adventure day. Rappelling on the Cliffs of Mananra. A visit to an Israeli Army Camp. Return to Tiberias.  Dinner and overnight - Tiberias.

Day 4
Visit Zippori – the town of mosaics and giant underground waterworks. A visit to Kfar Kedem – a recreated biblical village. Here we will see how olive oil and bread were made thousands of years ago and have our lunch in a tent like the villagers during the time of the Talmud. Dinner and overnight – Tiberias. 

Day 5
Travel to Jerusalem. On our way we’ll visit the ancient synagogue in Beit Alfa and on to Beit Shean – one of the most impressive archeological sites in ancient Israel. We continue through the Jordan Valley reaching Jerusalem.  Dinner and overnight – accessible hotel in Jerusalem.
                                        
Day 6
Entering the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem through the Zion Gate. Visit  David's Tomb, exploring the Jewish Quarter, the famous Cardo, and on towards the Kotel or Western Wall (last remnant of the Second Temple). Optional tour by minivan to a Jerusalem shopping center.  We will welcome an unfogettable Shabbat in Jerusalem.  Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7
Shabbath resting at the hotel.

Day 8
A tour of the model of Jerusalem during the time of The Second Temple, visit the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem), the Menorah opposite of the Knesset.  A tree planting by your own hands in the Jerusalem Hills.  Dinner and overnight – Jerusalem.

Day 9
A visit to historical Massada, and later the Dead Sea – the lowest point on earth where we will enjoy the healthy and revitalizing qualities it has to offer.  Dinner and overnight – Jerusalem.

Day 10
Last day in the Holy Land. Transfer to the airport, and assistance in embarking formalities.

 

10 Day Itinerary Geared Toward Christian and Jewish Sights

Day 1
Arrive at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport. Transfer to an accessible hotel in Tel Aviv.  Dinner and overnight – Tel Aviv.

Day 2
Travel to Caesarea, the home of Cornelius (the first Gentile convert), Philip the evangelist, and the apostle Paul, who visited here numerous times. Visit the Herodian Theatre, the Crusader city and the aqueduct.  Continue to Nazareth, the Lower Galilee, and on to Tiberias located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.  Dinner and overnight – accessible hotel in Tiberias.

Day 3
Visit Capernaum – the central point of the ministry of Jesus. Boat tour on the Sea of Galilee. Lunch on the shores of the Sea of Galilee enjoying the famous St. Peter’s fish. Dinner and overnight - Tiberias.

Day 4
Day of leisure. Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 5
Visit Zippori – the town of mosaics and giant underground waterworks.  A visit to Kfar Kedem – a recreated biblical village. Visit the unique city of Haifa with its panoramic views and the world famous Baha'i Gardens situated on Mount Carmel. Travel along the Costal Highway to our destination of Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight – accessible hotel in Jerusalem.   
                         
Day 7
Entering the ancient city of Jerusalem through the Zion Gate. Visit  David's tomb and pass by the room where the Last Supper took place. Next, we make our way to the Western Wall (last remnant of Herod's temple).  A visit to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display.  Dinner and overnight – Jerusalem.

Day 8
A tour of the model of Jerusalem during the time of King Herod.  Visit the Museum of the Holocaust (Yad Vashem), the Candelabra (Menorah) at the Parliament Square. A tree planting by your own hands in Jerusalem Hills.  Dinner and overnight – Jerusalem.

Day 9
A visit to historical Massada overlooking the  Dead Sea - the lowest point on earth where later we will enjoy the healthy and revitalizing qualities it has to offer.  Dinner and overnight – Jerusalem.

Day 10
Last day in the Holy Land. Transfer to the airport and assistance in embarking formalities.
