Day One - Frankfurt
Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel. Afternoon City Tour of Frankfurt.

Day Two - Frankfurt/Berlin
Early Breakfast. Drive to Berlin with a short orientation stop at Eisenach. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Berlin.

Day Three - Grand Tour Berlin/Potsdam
Breakfast at your hotel. Grand City Tour of Berlin and Potsdam. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Berlin.

Day Four - Berlin/Leipzig
Breakfast. Departure to Leipzig. City Tour of Leipzig. Overnight in Leipzig.

Day Five - Dresden/Meissen
Breakfast. Drive to Dresden - Meissen. City Tour and visit to Porcelain factory Meissen. Overnight in Dresden.

Day Six - Dresden/Munich
Breakfast. Departure to Munich. Evening visit of the famous "Hofbraeuhaus" or similar well known "Institutions" in Munich. Overnight in Munich.

Day Seven - Munich/Neuschwanstein/Linderhof/Fuessen
Full day Castle Tour. Optional visit to the Musical "LUDWIG 2nd" in Fuessen. Overnight in Fuessen.

Day Eight - Fuessen/Frankfurt
Breakfast at your Hotel. Departure Munich to Frankfurt. Transfer to Frankfurt Airport. End of Tour.

GERMAN BEER EXTRAVAGANZA

Day One - Frankfurt Airport/Brunswick
Upon arrival at Frankfurt Airport, transfer by Bus to Brunswick. Transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon City walk to the Brewery Restaurant Zum Löwen (To The Lion). Enjoy a Beer Seminar and beer tasting with a homemade dinner. Receive a special certificate to remember this "Event." Overnight in Brunswick.

Day Two - Brunswick/Berlin
Early breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Berlin. Evening visit to the old historical brewery Buergerbraeustuebel Berlin Koepenick. Enjoy an introduction to the high skills of Beer brewing. A typical " Berliner Buffet" will be served after the Beer tasting ceremony. Overnight in Berlin.

Day Three - Berlin
Individual breakfast. Grand City Tour of Berlin and Potsdam. Evening visit of a historical Brewery in Spandau, one of the oldest parts of Berlin. Overnight in Berlin.

Day Four - Berlin/Dresden
Individual breakfast at the Hotel. Then travel to Dresden, former Residence of King August Der Starke (August The Strong). After arrival, take a City Walk/Tour of Dresden ending up at the Radeberger Brewery, where you'll do some more Beer tasting. Overnight in Dresden.

Day Five - Dresden/Bayreuth
Individual breakfast. Drive to Bayreuth, famous home of the Wagner Festival, and also known for its Beer tradition. Bayreuther "BIERKULTUR". Graduate to a "DR b. c.". Overnight in Bayreuth.

Day Six - Bayreuth/Munich
Individual breakfast at the Hotel. Drive from Bayreuth to Munich. Visit the Hofbraeuhhaus or another famous Brewery-Restaurant. Overnight in Munich.

Day Seven - Munich/Ettal
Individual breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to the Monastery Ettal, not only known to brew a world famous beer, but also one of the best liquors - a tradition dating back to the middle ages. Enjoy beer and liquor tasting. Overnight in Ettal.

Day Eight - Ettal/Linderhof/Neuschwanstein/Wuerzburg
Individual breakfast. Visit the Castles Linderhof and Neuschwanstein. Continue on to Wuerzburg. Evening Tour of Wuerzburg. Visit one of the many student pubs on your own. Overnight in Wuerzburg.

Day Nine - Wuerzburg/Frankfurt Airport
Individual breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer from Wuerzburg to Frankfurt Airport. End of Trip.

THE COLD WAR REMEMBERED - 1945-1989

Day One - Frankfurt/Berlin
Arrive in Frankfurt in the morning. Transfer to Central Railway Station and take the ICE Train to Berlin. Transfer to your Hotel in Berlin. Afternoon city Tour of Berlin. Visit the "Story of Berlin" Exhibition. Dinner & Overnight in Berlin.

Day Two - Berlin
Early Breakfast. Drive to Karlshorst, the former USSR Military Head Office. Visit the Museum and see the Original Capitulation Document of the German Military Forces. Afternoon visit to the Stasi Prison Hohenschoenhausen. Listen in to a discussion with Eyewitnesses. Visit Check Point Charlie Museum in the late afternoon. Dinner and Overnight in Berlin.

Day Three - Berlin
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Concentration Camp Sachsenhausen - "Gauck - Behoerde" (Stasi Doumentation Center). Dinner and Overnight in Berlin.

Day Four - Berlin/Leipzig
Breakfast. Drive to Leipzig. Visit to the "Duebener Heide" Project, constructed as the answer to the KSZE Conference in Helsinki in 1975. Meeting with former Police President of Leipzig for "insight" Information. Dinner and Overnight in Leipzig.

Day Five - Leipzig/Torgau/Colditz/Leipzig
Breakfast. Drive to Torgau and Colditz with a visit of the respective important places in connection with WW2 and the post-WW2 period. Meeting and discussion with Eyewitnesses. Dinner and Overnight in Leipzig.

Day Six - Leipzig/Dresden/Bautzen
Breakfast. Departure to Bautzen via Dresden with an orientation City Tour of Dresden. Visit the Stasi Prison Bautzen, "famous" for the many medical experiments on prisoners. Dinner and Overnight in Bautzen.

Day Seven - Bautzen
Full day in Bautzen. Experience meetings and discussions with eyewitnesses and local administration of Bautzen. Dinner and Overnight in Bautzen.

Day Eight - Bautzen/Leipzig/Heidelberg
Breakfast at your Hotel. Drive to Leipzig. Take the train from Leipzig to Heidelberg. Dinner and Overnight in Heidelberg.

Day Nine - Depart
Breakfast at your Hotel. Visit the Heidelberg Castle, then depart to Frankfurt Airport. End of Tour.
