Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Jackson's Hole, Wyoming. . Accessible transfer to our hotel in the town of Jackson. Get acquainted or re-acquainted dinner. Stay 1 night.
Day 2
Today we drive through Yellowstone National Park on our way to Cody, Wyoming. A dramatic drive with plenty of scenic stops along the way. Stay 2 nights.
Day 3
Much of the day at world-renowned Buffalo Bill Historic Center, housing five large museums/galleries, including original works of Charlie Russell and Frederick Remington. Later, you're free to roam in Cody.
Day 4
To Yellowstone, today, via the most remote corner of Yellowstone country and through the Lamar Valley, where wolves began their recent recovery, and other large animals abound. Stay 1 night at Canyon Lodge.
Day 5
Yellowstone, our nation’s first national park, and no wonder! We see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, which is too impressive to describe, and includes a 308 foot waterfall. Then through Hayden Valley, a major wildlife habitat, and along Yellowstone Lake. Stay 2 nights at Old Faithful.
Day 6
We explore the Old Faithful area today, viewing geysers, hot springs, and buffalo.
Day 7
Return to Jackson, touring Grand Teton National Park. This evening, a rodeo is an option you may enjoy attending.
Day 8
Today includes an unforgettable River Trip on the Snake River (no white water) under the Teton Mountains. Then, we’ll return to Jackson for some free time. Tonight, your farewell dinner will be a Chuckwagon Supper and Show.
Day 9
Depart from the West today with unforgettable memories.
Reservations: Because this tour is usually limited to 10 or 11 people, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to secure your place on the trip. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit (see below).
Rates include: Coach transportation, hotel accommodations, all applicable sight seeing and admissions as per itinerary, services of a guide. Meals, except as specially noted, are not included, simply because people have differing appetites. You will be met at your arrival airport, and taken to your departure airport. We have electric scooters available for rent for the duration of your tour if you need one.
Price/Deposits: The price of this tour is USD $1990 per person, based on double occupancy. There is a single supplement of USD $570, if desired. On the day of payment, US dollar amounts will be converted to a total in Canadian dollars (CAD) according to the exchange rate on that day. A deposit of CAD $1400.00 per person is required to reserve your place, with the balance due 95 days prior to departure. Payment can be made in CAD by bank draft, wire transfer, or money order. For credit card payments, add 3% to the total cost.
Itineraries: We reserve the right to withdraw this tour at any time. If we should cancel a tour, a full refund will be made. Itineraries may be subject to changes and alterations, by necessity, at any time without notice and for any reason, without allowance or refund.
As you consider our programs, please understand that not all facilities and locations are highly developed for all types of disabled accessibility, and you must have at least some sense of adventure. Our hotels have at least some "handicapped" rooms, and all rooms are accessible. We allocate "handicapped" rooms according to greatest need. Questions? Ask us!
Singles are welcome but if an assistant is required you will need to bring one.
Any party of four or more constitutes a group and may ask us to create a custom
itinerary for them, or create a tour for special interests, such as photography,
history, etc.
