Join us on a special trip exploring the highlights of two very special countries -- Scotland and Ireland!

Itinerary:

Our tour begins on June 23rd in Edinburgh, the exciting capital of Scotland, where we will spend two nights in an excellent hotel on the Royal Mile. During our stay, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and Edinburgh Castle, along with visits to the Scottish Parliament, the Royal Yacht Brittania, and the Museum of Scotland.

From there, we travel north to see “the bonnie bonnie banks” of Loch Lomond, the magnificent Scottish Highlands, and Loch Ness. We will spend two nights in Inverness, known as “the capital of the Highlands.”  We will then continue on to visit Stirling and its famous castle, as well as an overnight in Glasgow, before taking a ferry across the sea to Ireland for the second half of the tour.

Next, we will spend two nights in Belfast, with a city tour and visits to the spectacular Antrim Coast, Giant’s Causeway, and Bushmills Distillery.  Then we travel across Northern Ireland to Derry, Sligo, and Yeat’s Country. We finish up by visiting Donegal and Connemara before overnighting in Galway for the last two nights, enjoying some wonderful excursions along the way.  Also included are a visit to the Celtic Crystal Factory, afternoon tea at a traditional Irish farmhouse with a fascinating look at sheepdogs at work, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Experience, and a cruise on the Killary Fjord.  All in all, this is a wonderful exploration of two different and wonderful countries in one trip.
