Join us on a special trip to the Emerald Isle in 2010 -- 2 departure dates to choose from!

Itinerary:

This tour will provide a wonderful exploration of this magical country, starting in Dublin and ending in Shannon. We will spend 8 nights total on the Emerald Isle, including two nights in each of Dublin, Galway, Killarney, and Limerick. Accommodations include four-star hotels with excellent disabled rooms.

On our first day in Dublin, we will enjoy a tour of this exciting capital city, including a visit to the Guinness Storehouse. On day 2 we pay a visit to Co.Wicklow, where we finish up at night with a traditionally Irish dinner show, including excellent food and entertainment. From there, we head west, stopping enroute for a fascinating look at sheepdogs at work. We will also enjoy a wonderful lunch at a very traditional Irish farmhouse before moving on to Galway. We will spend two nights exploring the "City of Tribes" on Galway Bay and experiencing the rugged and beautiful Connemara area and the West of Ireland.

Next, we will travel south to Co. Kerry for two nights, taking in the spectacular Cliffs of Moher along the way. The following day we will tour the beautiful Dingle Peninsula with its breathtaking scenery and lively town. We will also travel to Cobh to visit the fantastic Queenstown Heritage Center, as well as a trip to Blarney. The tour finishes up in Co. Limerick where we will spend two nights, including time to see Adare ("the prettiest town in Ireland") before our tour of Limerick city, on the River Shannon. The last day we visit King John's Castle & Bunratty Folk Park for a fascinating insight into the local life of times gone by. There will be free time for some shopping and exploring. That night, we enjoy a farewell dinner and show on the grounds of Bunratty Castle, a wonderful way to finish up our tour of this magical country. In addition to all the sights we visit and the good times, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet the wonderful people of Ireland and experience their warm welcome.

The price of this tour is USD $2600.00* per person, double occupancy. There is a single supplement of USD $500.00, if desired.  On the day of payment, US dollar amounts will be converted to a total in Canadian dollars (CAD) according to the exchange rate on that day. A deposit of CAD $750.00 per person is required to reserve your place, with the balance due 90 days prior to departure.  Payment can be made by bank draft, wire transfer, or money order. While we book the best adapted rooms for wheelchair users that are available for our tours, not every hotel will have roll-in showers. If they do not, the bathrooms will be fully adapted for guests with disabilities, including grab bars in bathtubs and by toilets. We can provide a transfer chair to assist if necessary, but we suggest that you bring your own toilet seat risers if you require one. We provide the best hotels available to meet the needs of the group; however, while they are always fully wheelchair accessible, it is not always possible to find hotels with several rooms with roll-in showers in Europe.
