Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Salt Lake City. Transfer to your hotel. Get acquainted/ reacquainted dinner. Stay two nights.
Day 2
You have the option to attend a performance of the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and tour Temple Square. Then, visit the world’s largest man-made excavation, Kennecott's Bingham Canyon Mine. Later, we'll drive into the mountains, near Park City, where we will take a tour of the Olympic Ski Jump and Bobsled Track center.
Day 3
Off to Bryce Canyon National Park today, through mountains, hills, valleys with farms and ranches, and rural communities. Stay one night.
Day 4
First, Bryce Canyon National Park, where the myriad spectacular rock formations and bright pink colors must be seen to be believed! After lunch we continue our journey to Zion National Park, so magnificent, and one of the nation's oldest national parks. Stay one night.
Day 5
After enjoying the morning light on Zion’s walls, we head for beautiful Lake Powell, where our hotel overlooks the lake, where the blue waters against the red sandstone are spectacular. Special boat ride on Lake Powell this evening. Stay one night.
Day 6
Drive to the Grand Canyon! Along the way we’ll stop at Cameron Indian Trading Post, on the Navajo Indian Reservation, then continue west along the south rim of the Grand Canyon to our hotel near the rim. Stay two nights.
Day 7
Our day will be spent by the Grand Canyon! This huge-beyond-belief canyon is as awesome and colorful as you have ever imagined.
Day 8
On to Las Vegas, Nevada. The drive takes us from 7,000 feet through forest, grasslands and then desert, at just above sea-level! Farewell dinner tonight. Dine together, or you may choose to go out to one of the many terrific Las Vegas shows. Call us for suggestions. Another option for some would be to stay in Vegas another day or two.
Day 9
Depart from the West today or fly home anytime, with unforgettable memories. Accessible transfer to the airport is included from the hotel.
Reservations: Because this tour is usually limited to 10 or 11 people, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to secure your place on the trip. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit (see below).
Rates include: Coach transportation, hotel accommodations, all applicable sight seeing and admissions as per itinerary, services of a guide. Meals, except as specially noted, are not included, simply because people have differing appetites. You will be met at your arrival airport, and taken to your departure airport. We have electric scooters available for rent for the duration of your tour if you need one.
Price/Deposits: The price of this tour is USD $2190 per person, based on double occupancy. There is a single supplement of USD $575, if desired. On the day of payment, US dollar amounts will be converted to a total in Canadian dollars (CAD) according to the exchange rate on that day. A deposit of CAD $1500.00 per person is required to reserve your place, with the balance due 95 days prior to departure. Payment can be made in CAD by bank draft, wire transfer, or money order. For credit card payments, add 3% to the total cost.
Itineraries: We reserve the right to withdraw this tour at any time. If we should cancel a tour, a full refund will be made. Itineraries may be subject to changes and alterations, by necessity, at any time without notice and for any reason, without allowance or refund.
As you consider our programs, please understand that not all facilities and locations are highly developed for all types of disabled accessibility, and you must have at least some sense of adventure. Our hotels have at least some "handicapped" rooms, and all rooms are accessible. We allocate "handicapped" rooms according to greatest need. Questions? Ask us!
Singles are welcome but if an assistant is required you will need to bring one.
Any party of four or more constitutes a group and may ask us to create a custom itinerary for them, or create a tour for special interests, such as photography, history, etc.
