We would like to invite you to join us on a NEW trip in 2008 to Wales and Dublin, Ireland!
This tour gives you a wonderful opportunity to explore TWO countries -- the exciting city of Dublin, Ireland, and the magical storybook country of Wales with its history and breathtaking scenery. For the first half of the tour, we will be based in Dublin, Ireland, where you will stay in a four star city-center accessible hotel. We will spend time touring the city; including a visit to the famous Guinness Storehouse (with a complimentary pint!). We will also take day trips outside the city to Co. Wicklow, Newgrange in the Boyne Valley, and Co. Kildare. There will also be a free half day in Dublin for you to spend on your own. Perhaps you may choose to do some shopping, visit a museum, or relax in the lovely St. Stephen’s Green, one of the most beautiful city parks in Europe. Next, we will take a short trip on a high speed luxury ferry to North Wales, where you will be staying for three nights in a wonderful castle-hotel, with good accessible rooms. From there you will visit Anglesey, the famous Slate Caverns, Portmeirion, the majestic Caernarvon Castle, and a wonderful demonstration of a working sheep farm (including a sheepdog and shearing experience and afternoon tea). The trip will end in Manchester airport, where you can connect for your flight home.
Come and join us for a unique opportunity to explore two very different and special countries in comfort and style. This tour is limited to approximately fifteen people, so there will be plenty of room on the accessible coach for your comfort. Furthermore, we will be based in only one hotel in each country, so you only have to change hotels once during a week of touring.
Tour Includes:
All travel will be on a luxury wheelchair accessible motorcoach, using the services of a full time driver/guide throughout. Four nights accommodation in Dublin and three nights accommodation in North Wales at a unique castle/hotel are included in the tour in accessible rooms, including full Irish/Welsh breakfast daily, as well as service charges and taxes. Four 3-course dinners are included as well as most entrance fees. Airport transfers from Dublin airport and to Manchester airport are included as well as baggage handling.
The price of this tour is USD $3100.00* per person, double occupancy. There is a single supplement of USD $450.00, if desired. On the day of payment, US dollar amounts will be converted to a total in Canadian dollars (CAD) according to the exchange rate on that day. A deposit of CAD $700.00 per person is required to reserve your place, with the balance due 90 days prior to departure.
While we book the best adapted rooms for wheelchair users that are available for our tours, not every hotel will have roll-in showers. If they do not, the bathrooms will be fully adapted for guests with disabilities, including grab bars in bathtubs and by toilets. We can provide a transfer chair to assist if necessary, but we suggest that you bring your own toilet seat risers if you require one. We provide the best hotels available to meet the needs of the group; however, while they are always fully wheelchair accessible, it is not always possible to find hotels with several rooms with roll-in showers in Europe.
* based on exchange rates as of September, 2007 & subject to change in the event of excessive currency fluctuations. On the day of payment, US dollar amounts will be converted to a total in Canadian dollars (CAD) according to the exchange rate on that day.
Don't miss the opportunity to explore Ireland and Wales in comfort with a group that will more than meet your special needs!
